In June of 1794 seven people were brought together to establish the Bullittsburg Baptist Church. The name was taken from the little village of Bullittsburg in Bullitt’s Bottom on the Ohio River where flatboats landed. Each generation played a vital part and without any one of those generations we would not be here today celebrating its upcoming 230th anniversary come June 6, 2024!

The Bullittsburg Baptist Church has been faithful to God, specifically the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word, the Holy Bible – believing it, practicing it, and applying it to the needs of each generation. Standing upon this solid spiritual ground, we have a heritage to uphold and our Lord Jesus to serve. We stand in the balance of yesterday’s future and tomorrow’s Hope.
